Hello!
Thanks for stopping by! I look forward to hearing more about you. Let's connect on LinkedIn. A quick bit about me. Perspective: I've been an innovation and business-for-good geek my entire career. I've seen many "next big things". Some come, some go, some change the world. Here's a secret. Well, it isn't really a secret, but it's easy to forget in the midst of any "next big thing" hype: |
Tech marketing is not about the latest innovation, gadget, web2, web3, AI, or someplace in between.
Marketing is webX agnostic.
The tools may be different and dazzling, but the fundamentals of attracting, engaging, building trust and converting an audience have not changed.
The starting place is your audience and shared values. The easier you make it for your audience to relate to and engage with you, the better your results.
Sounds simple, right? Well, it's not. Building an audience is harder than it sounds because it requires clarity and specifics in your brand and your content. Fluff does not convert.
Sounding the same as everyone else (aka cut and paste ChatGPT text) does not convert.
I focus on tech innovation because it's fascinating to me. It's also critical to solving the planet's most pressing problems.
Writing is my unique way of making a dent in the universe and helping like-minded entrepreneurs and companies do the same. I’m half geek, half marketer, 100% superwriter with 15 years of marketing video production experience. I’m good at translating wonky concepts for a wider audience.
I am an empath and experienced marketer that keeps a laser focus on your audience's POV so that your content stands out and converts.
A few more things about me:
1. I completely reinvented my life at age 50, selling most of what I owned to travel and build an ethical business I could run from anywhere, a few years before remote work became a thing.
2. I became bilingual in Spanish and eventually landed in Mexico City, where I now live, before living in Mexico City also became a thing.
3. I love dogs but I don't have one right now. I am learning how to take care of plants. Dogs are easier.
4. I recharge with daily pilates, imperfect meditation, walks in the Bosque de Chapultepec, travel, puppet shows, convos with interesting people, sending funny TikToks to my kids, and working on social impact startups.
